Pocket springs vs. a bonnell unit

In a bonnell unit the springs are laced together into one grid: press it in one spot and the whole mattress dips. In a pocket spring unit every spring sits in its own spunbond pocket and compresses only under its own point. For a couple that is the decisive argument: when one person gets up or turns over, the other side of the bed stays still. The second argument is weight difference — a pocket spring unit carries each side according to its own load, so the heavier partner does not roll the lighter one towards them. If the difference is more than 30 kg, take a pocket spring unit only. We have been making these units ourselves since 2007 at our workshop in Boraldai.

PocketSpring 256 or MultiPocket 512

These are our two units, and they differ in the number of springs per square metre. PocketSpring 256 is the basic option and suits most people: up to 90 kg per side on an ordinary double bed. MultiPocket 512 has twice as many springs, each one thinner and responding to less pressure, so the surface follows the body more precisely. Choose 512 if the weight on your side is over 90 kg. The load rating per sleeping side is listed in the specifications of every model: Optima P — 115 kg, Stem P — 120 kg, Seasons M — 140 kg; the Hard and Mega lines hold up to 170 kg.

Sizes, price and lead time

This section has 27 pocket spring models, priced from 33 200 to 222 600 ₸ — the price depends on the size, the height and the filling: coconut coir, latex, PU foam and combinations of them. There are eight standard sizes from 80×200 to 200×200 cm; if your bed is non-standard we make the mattress to your measurements, which adds 1–2 days to the lead time. Production takes 3–5 working days; items in stock ship the next day. The warranty runs from 1 to 5 years and service life is up to 12 years.

Showroom and delivery

You can lie on both the 256 and the 512 units and compare them in our showroom: ARMADA mall, 1/8 Kabdolova street, block 2, row 6, unit 14a, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Delivery in Almaty is free, and the courier carries the mattress up and brings it to your bed; the mattress rolls up, so it fits a standard lift and a narrow staircase. Payment: Kaspi, bank transfer to the company account, or cash to the courier in Almaty. Outside the city and to other regions we ship by carrier at their rate, prepaid.
